Update of my SportsBettingChamp review Link

Many have seen this system, a couple of friends of mine asked me is the system is a scam. I have experience of semipro betting since a couple of years back so I said I would look into it. Most forums I have checked in don't have any serious information about this system. I have followed this guy for a while now, here are the results so far:

As you can see I have mostly betted at Bet365, I sure I could find better odds at other bookies, but I have been a bit lazy so bear that in mind that the odds could have been slightly higher on some of the picks. John is very promoting of his "recommended" bookies and that is because he gets a piece of the cake for all customers he sends to them. I would never put any money at Betus dot com, they have a D+ in rating at sportsbookreview.com. By the way that website is a good source for reliable bookies, and to see what bookmakers not to use.

To sum up all things here: Using John Morrisons staking plan and use 100 USD for an A-bet, 250 for a B-bet, and 650 for a C-Bet, you would have earned a net profit of  352,65 USD at an yield of 5% so far. Remember that this was using mostly one bookmaker. I use Bet365 because it's pretty fast to find the odds with. Also I have started to follow Johns bets more exactly, he does not say what handicap to bet on but only 2-3 points more in handicap than the bookmakers have as starting points. At the start I just betted on the highest odds I could find, not giving attention to the 2-3 extra points the system uses. It would be interesting to know what's more profitable in the long run, but that would be another system than the www.SportsBettingChamp.com system, so I rather follow his recommended advice for now. Also the stakes could be higher, but because I just have started to follow his picks I rather keep the stakes low. But if the stakes where as my normal stakes I would bet
A: 300 USD
B: 750 USD
C: 1950 USD

Then the net profit for now would have been 1057,95 USD. That' pretty nice for only 40 bets, even if the yield could have been a bit higher. Stakes like this is not for everyone, but it's not for everyone to buy a system for 197 USD (246 USD) either. To get the system check here: www.SportsBettingChamp.com As all gambling it's long term profit that counts, and I will update this page when I got a bunch of more data.

Update of my SportsBettingChamp review

2008-01-25

I have followed a few picks and checked his systems, it looks like they are designed by looking at previous stats, and with an implementation of a loss recovery system. The bets are divided into a group consisting of maximum 3 bets. I f the first bet A $ 100 is a loss then you will stake $250 on the next bet, B. If B is a loss you should stake $650 on the C bet. If C is a loss then you start over finding a new pick that fits the system. Actually JM is sending out the picks, so you don't have to care about the system. But it feels like the system is made to fit previous data without understanding the data. I have also found lack of details when John Morrison is declaring the pick. He is not giving details about what handicap to take. In his system he only talks about "buying 2-3 points", it would be much more professional if he gave a pick with full information. Like exact handicap to take, odds, and bookmaker. Also recommendations on lowest odds to take and other important thing that serious punters wants.

So far after a bunch of picks:

2008-01-24 New Jersey  - Golden State * New Jersey +9 1,917 100 191,7 91,7 Pinnacle Sports John Morrisson

Because he doesn't state what handicap to take I did make a loss with Atlanta vs Denver. I only took +5.5. John Morrison claimed this as a win. Probably because of a bigger handicap than I took.

Net profit so far is actually a loss:
-558,15 USD or 5.58 units. (I stake 100 USD per unit.)

A thing that I don't like with the service is that he claims that loosing bets are winning just because he packs them into a group of A+B+C. If A and B are losing bets, but C is a winning bet, then he claims that all bets won. Not very professional. Maybe he doesn't have any previous experience of betting and what to expect from a tipster.

Checking out a new sports betting service
2008-01-12

I Found SportsBettingChamp in a Swedish promotional newsletter. I assumed it was a scam regarding the high hit rate.
I have not found any proofed bets from this guy. First I thought it was a system that the buyer will use to find picks himself, but it seems like he is sending out the picks. Like an ordinary sport tipster.

At first glance, it looks like he is earning lost of money from letting people sign up at http://www.betus.com
To get a deposit bonus of 55% you have to call either Amy or Bruce at Betus. I have no details about how many times you have to bet the deposit or (deposit + bonus together) to claim the bonus. But this heavy promotion of Betus I have no big expectations that he actually will deliver any winners. If you didn't follow, he gets a fixed percent from all deposits, or from all losses people make.

I will post all picks as soon as I get them along with the best odds I can find.
It will serve as a kind of verification or proofing of his picks.
Of course I will post the result then, also how many units staked, yield etc.

By the way, my name is Sebastian Lepinski an ex-facial blusher and now a semi-pro sports punter. I'm running this site providing access to my own manual The Blushers Manual. Ok, enough about me.

I checked the sportsbettingchamp.com website and here is what I found:

So what does this tell us?
The addresses and phone number is to the Internet domain registrar Godaddy. It's possible to buy some privacy when using such services, you pay an extra fee and they list their own name and address instead of yours.

Other sources of information?
I have searched the net to get information about this system but I only found nonobjective sites.

The promotional ad below is losing most if its credibility when he states results from 2003. Why did he wait 5 years until promoting his amazing product? Ok, maybe this is his own private records, so it actually don't tell us much.

Promotional Ad > "A Sport Betting Pro and Stats Doctor Reveals How To Win 97% Of Your Sport Bets!
John Morrison at SportsBettingChamp.com has discovered a spectacular sport betting system that he has used to produce an astonishing 97% winning rate on all of his sport bets. For the first time ever, John has made his revolutionary sport betting system available to a limited number of individuals.

You can now gain access to the same betting system that has netted him over $375,000 over the last several years.
Here’s a look at John’s incredible win-loss betting record since 2003:

NBA Basketball:
2003-04 season: 68 wins – 2 Losses
2004-05 season: 71 wins – 3 Losses
2005-06 season: 66 wins – 2 Losses

MLB Baseball:
2004 season: 48 wins – 0 Losses
2005 season: 55 wins – 3 Losses
2006 season: 52 wins – 1 Loss
2007 season: 67 wins – 3 Losses

That’s an accumulated record of 427 wins and 14 losses over the last several years of betting

John has now finally broken the silence on his ingenious sport betting system. Along with the red-hot system, John will also provide you with a lifetime of free picks, an unheard-of deposit bonus offer, a "No Ifs, Ands, or Buts Personal Guarantee" as well as a dose of other splendid incentives. Head over to SportBettingChamp.com today to take a look at this limited offer while it’s still available." < End of nonobjective promotional text.

Does the SportsBettingChamp system work?
I have not found anyone that I can trust that say so, either I have not found any person saying it's a scam. I have searched lots of forums but no one seems to want to give this system a fair and honest review. I give it a shot, If it does not work I will use the money back guarantee.

Taxes? What (VAT) a fuck!?
I paid the sign up fee, that was claimed to be $197 , actually I had to pay about $246, because the VAT was not included in the price, that felt a bit unfair. But if I don't like the quality of this service I have 8 weeks so claim my money back and get a full refund.

Where to find this system?
